Mrs. Mary Knuth

August 2024 will mark thirteen years that I have served as the school psychologist for St. Jude! I grew up and attended undergraduate school in Virginia (College of William and Mary), then studied School Psychology at the University of North Carolina - Chapel Hill. I met my husband at UNC and followed him back to his hometown of Pittsburgh (sorry, but we are Steelers fans!) After a five-year stint in Pittsburgh, my family relocated to Cincinnati in the early 90s. I stayed home with our three children for twelve years before resuming my school psychology career in August 2004. When not at St. Jude, I work with OHHS students attending Diamond Oaks. My hobbies include reading, ringing handbells, spending time with my husband and adult children, and grabbing every available opportunity to be with my one-year-old grandson!

A thorough background check is required for all those employed or volunteering to work with youth or vulnerable adults as a cleric, at a parish or school, as an Archdiocesan employee or at an Archdiocesan institution. All volunteers and employees are required to complete the electronic/online background check through SELECTION.com prior to beginning their volunteer activity or employment. In addition to the electronic/online background check, employees are required to complete manual fingerprinting and submit a B4 form before begin- ning their employment at an Archdiocesan parish, school, or institution.
